RONO HILLS, Jun 29: A five-day international Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘New Paradigms of Research in Commerce and Management’ to be conducted through virtual mode was inaugurated here on Monday by the Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University, Professor Saket Kushwaha.
Head of RGU’s Department of Commerce Professor Otem Padung, Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management Professor Tasi Kaye, Director, IQAC Professor Rama Chandra Parida and other faculty members of the department were present during the inauguration. The RGU VC while stressing on the importance of online platforms to disseminate knowledge and ideas, lauded the efforts of the varsity’s Department of Commerce for organizing the FDP on a relevant topic and exhorted the researchers to give importance on originality and quality of research works. HoD Professor Padung, Programme Coordinator Dr. Devi Baruah and Joint Programme Coordinator Dr. Philip Modi spoke on the occasion. 
This programme which is using the webinar platform will conclude on July 3 and a total of ten experts from various fields of the research domain across the world will share their knowledge and expertise spread over twelve sessions. 
More than 360 participants from across the globe will be joining the programme. RGU PR
