ITANAGAR, Dec 11:  With a motive to provide a platform to entrepreneurs, Arunachal Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board (APKVIB) in collaboration with Nachinlang Welfare Society (NWS) supported by National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) is organizing the ‘1st International Trade Fair at IG Park, Itanagar (ITF) from December 1-15.  
Speaking media, former Minister and Chairman APKVIB, Tapi Batt informed that more than 100 stalls from different states of India are participating in the International trade fair.  The sole motive of the fair is to encourage Khadi industries and offer a platform for local entrepreneurs.
He further informed that APKVIB is also creating awareness amongst the entrepreneurs about various benefits under National Small Industries Corporation. Registered entrepreneurs under NSIC especially from ST/SC can avail various benefits like booking of stalls and reimbursement of to & fro during any kind of trade fare anywhere in the country. Moreover, NSIC also offers a discount on construction material to those contractors who are registered with them, added Batt.
 “I appeal our local entrepreneurs and contractors of any class to register with  NSIC to avail all the benefits available," suggested  the Chairman while informing that NSIC is  organizing  a workshop for contractors on December 12 at the Trade Fair venue and  Zonal Manager NSIC, Avinash Choudhary will  also attend the workshop.
Appealing people to visit ITF, he informed that a cultural event will be where renowned singers Jeli Kaye and Thupten Tsering will perform on December 12 and 14.
