ITANAGAR, Sep 26:The CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology Branch celebrated its 77th foundation day at its premises on Tuesday. Students along with their teachers from KVs, VKVs and from NERIST Nirjuli attended the day long programme.
Resource person, Dr S. Suresh Kumar Singh, Associate Professor, Dept of Forestry, NERIST Nirjuli delivered lecture on “Career in Biological Sciences with special reference in biotechnology”.
Awareness about the CSIR and its contribution to the nation especially to North East India, and Arunachal Pradesh was also highlighted which was followed by interaction among the teachers, students and scientists regarding presentation of different projects in the National Children Science Congress -2018 through scientific intervention and systematic study.
