ITANAGAR, Jul 9:Expressing concern over the inordinate delay in construction of Government engineering college sanctioned at Toru under Sagalee division, the Toru Panchayat Youth Welfare Association (TPYWA) requested ADC Sagalee to direct the executing team to start the works immediately.

Citing that tender for the said work was passed and finalized five years back, it informed that the concerned authority is yet to start the construction of infrastructure of the college.

Divulging that the plot of land was donated by locals for development of the area, it alleged that the delay in constructing the much hyped about project has deeply hurt the sentiments of the local people who donated their agricultural land for the construction of the college.
