TEZU, May 3:Minister Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Dairy Development etc, Dr. Mohesh Chai inaugurated four buildings at different locations in Tezu, today.
The Investigating Officers (IO) building was inaugurated at the premises of Tezu Police Station and would house the offices of investigation officers.
Later, the Minister inaugurated two classroom buildings at Indira Gandhi Government College constructed under Untied Fund 2015-2016. The second building consists of academic block and students' common room which was funded under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan.
To mark the inauguration ceremony a small programme was organised at the college campus during which Dr. Chai expressed his desire to make the IGG College Tezu number one college in the whole of Arunachal Pradesh.
Addressing students he asked them to excel in their studies and realise their own dreams and their parents' dreams and not go astray. ‘Maintain discipline, abstain from drug abuse and do not go haywire from the purpose for which you have come here and your parents have sent here. Whatever dreams you have, realise that and focus on that,’ he said.
Further, he made an announcement to provide 100 pairs of desk and bench to the college for the new classrooms.
Dormitory at Circuit House, Tezu was also inaugurated today.
Meanwhile, a meeting was convened at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner, Tezu to discuss the action plan for the ensuing visit of the Chief Minister to Tezu.
Detail discussion on the preparations and charter of duties was chalked out in the meeting.
SDO Kajal Karmakar, HoDs and public leaders accompanied the Minister.
