ITANAGAR, May 28:A 59-day long induction training for APCS entry grade (lateral) 2017 batch commenced at ATI, Naharlagun today.

The training programs includes six weeks classroom teaching, field visits and two weeks Northeastern states darshan to Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland and Assam. Altogether 13 APCS lateral entry 2017 batch of circle officers are attending the programme.

Inaugurating the program, Parliamentary Secretary, Zingnu Namchoom termed civil service officers as guide and captain of the state’s developmental activities.

He hoped that the ensuing training will equip them with latest developmental policies of the state government including their roles and duties as administrative officers.

Appealing them to take full benefit of the training, he asked them to ensure that fruits of development reach every individual and advised them to ensure corruption free administration. He also described them as appropriate agent of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas” movement.

Director, Pate Marik, Asst. Director cum Course coordinator, Bamin Tayeng and Asst. director, ATI also spoke on the occasion.
