ITANAGAR, Dec 11: Arunachal NGO and Entrepreneurship Forum (ANGOEF) will organize first ever State Level Exhibition of Indigenous products on December 15-16 at Dorjee Khandu Convention center. Addressing reporters at Press Club, Chairperson ANGOEF, Taba Yall Nabam informed that in order to encourage and motivate local entrepreneurs, weavers and artisans in every field the exhibition is being organized. “More than 50 entrepreneurs, weavers and artisans from different parts of the state are participating in the event," she added.
She further opined that ‘encouraging local entrepreneurs, weavers and artisans is need of the hour to preserve the  rich tradition and culture and the exhibition will give such a platform.' We have also submitted memorandum to the Chief Minister for establishment of a separate board for such NGOs and Entrepreneurs so that the rich culture and traditional legacy is safeguarded. Moreover, ANGOEF has also sought intervention of the Chief Minister on Traditional Tribal Design Patent, Skill development programmes, Micro Finance for NGOs & Entrepreneurs, Inclusion of Budget for NGOs & Entrepreneurs working in this field, Nabam added.
