ITANAGAR, Mar 11: Gora Makik SC defeated Todo United FC 3-1 in the semi finals ( Qualifier-2) of Indrajit Namchoom Arunachal League 2020 played today in Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy, Chimpu to qualify for their consecutive finals of the league. They will face Capital Complex FC in the final showdown who have already booked their berth in the final after beating GMSC in Qualifier-1.
Samson Nongrum opened the scoring for the defending champions in the 18th minute of the first half converting a simple opportunity near goal after deflection from TUFC goal keeper fell onto his leg. TUFC conceded an own goal through defender Sameer Pradhan in the 30th minute to make things worse for themselves.
GMSC forward, Timmy Ryngkhulem converted a beautifully take free kick in the 71st minute when substitute striker, Beken Riram was could by the TUFC defender. TUFC pushed forward looking for equalizer and Taba Heli found the net in the 84th minute but it was too little too late for them to make a comeback in the match and the match ended in 3-1 in favour of the defending champions. Grand finale of Indrajit Namchoom Arunachal League 2020 will be held on 14th March next between Capital Complex FC and Gora Makik SC.
