ITANAGAR, Apr 5: A team from the Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC) on Sunday sprayed disinfectants in the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) complex and its adjoining areas as a part of its disinfection drive in the twin capitals which commenced on March 23 last.
Two fire tenders and ten spraying vehicles accompanied by staffers from the veterinary and fire departments under the supervision of IMC Chief Executive Officer Tadar Tarang was spotted jointly carrying out the disinfection drive in Naharlagun area. "We have successfully sprayed disinfectants covering all the areas," said Tarang.
The team later conducted a similar disinfection drive in Itanagar covering areas such as the Chandranagar Market, Forest Corporation, PHQ, Gohpur, RKM Hospital, Ganga and Akashdeep Market up to the Civil Secretariat.
