BOMDILA, May 13:Under the instruction of Deputy Commissioner, West Kameng District, a special Inner Line Permit drive has commenced in the district from Sunday. The drive to check illegal unauthorized entrance was conducted in all border areas of the district.                                   

On the first day of the drive a total of 46 persons without ILP were detained and pushed out of the state jurisdiction by the police.                                 

The drive was spearheaded at Kalaktang and Bhalukpong sub-division by the respective administrative officers with assistance from the police.                                     

Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sonal Swaroop further informed that the special drive would continue further in the coming days too.
