Tezu, Sep 28: A one day ‘Crash Training Programme on Soft Skills’ was conducted for the students of Indira Gandhi Government College on September 27 last.
The programme was a result of the initiatives of the Principal Dr. Kangki Megu with Dr. K. Rajendra Babu, HoD Commerce attending as the Programme Coordinator & Resource Person. In his address Dr. Megu exhorted the students to acquire soft skills along with hard skills to become more employable in the present cut-throat competitive world. Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Dr. M.K. Jana advised the participants to strive for growth of one’s personality. Dr. K. Rajendra Babu emphasised the need for imbibing soft skills for gaining better employability in the context of privatisation and globalisation and changing milieu of job market complexities.
During the valedictory session, students’ feedback indicated that motivational efforts of the educational institutions should go along with the classroom mode of education for instilling inspiration and motivation among students. IGGC PR
