ITANAGAR, Apr 24:The Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) has mourned the untimely demise of one of the founder member of indigenous faith & cultural movement of Arunachal Pradesh, Mihin Kaning on Monday after a brief illness. He was serving as Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Polo Colony, Naharlagun.

Before the inception of IFCSAP and serving as advisor for many years, Late Kaning served as general secretary a forum called “Donyi-Polo Spiritual Society of Arunachal Pradesh” in 1996 with the great soul Guru Golgi Bote Talom Rukbo as President. He also wrote many books on indigenous faith & cultural movement of Arunachal Pradesh.

The vacuum created by his untimely demise in the movement of preservation, protection and promotion of indigenous faith and culture and social awakening of indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh won’t be filled in the near future. It is a great loss and sad moment for the indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh, the IFCSAP said in a release today.
