SAGALEE, Dec 30: Project level coordination-cum-review meeting of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) & Helpers (AWHs) and ICDS functionaries of Sagalee ICDS project was held on Friday at mini secretariat  here. Besides field functionaries of the project, the AWWs  and AWHs from all four administrative circles viz. Leporiang, Parang, Sagalee and Toru have attended the meeting.
Inaugurating the programme as chief guest, S. Lowang, ADC Sagalee, while appreciating the  officials of the project for organizing such essential programme, had urged upon the participating AWW & AWHs to give full dedication towards their duties and  responsibilities.  Lowang also expressed that ICDS functionaries especially AWWs and other field functionaries have a vital role in proper shaping of society by disseminating basic and  essential education, information and awareness to the children and women folk.  
Reviewing the functioning of AWCs of the project and interacting with all participating AWWs,  S.C Tok, CDPO who joined the ICDS project, reminded the participants  the objectives of ICDS  and duties, role and responsibilities.
During the day-long programme, Tok also outlined the government’s flagship programmes, etc.
