ITANAGAR, Sep 10: The Indian Air Force is slated to honour several individuals at Aalo on September 17 next acknowledging their services in the search and rescue operations of the ill-fated AN-32 aircraft which went missing on June 3 last in the mountains of Arunachal Pradesh.
 Acknowledging the services rendered by government officials, PRI leaders, public and professionals in the search & recovery operations, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced certificates of commendation & appreciation along with cash reward.
The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command has announced the names of Deputy Commissioner Siang, Rajiv Takuk, Mountaineers Taka Tamut, Kishon Tekseng,Tagung Tamut,Talik Darung,Okenma Mize and a local villager Tagung Tamut.  IAF will also award the Head Gaon Burahs of Gasheng,Tasi Yapi,  Gatte,Taning Pangu and Payum, Tatum Tai.
The felicitation programme for the awardees will be held on September 17 next at Aalo Advanced Landing Ground.
