Itanagar, Oct 14: The Airmen Recruitment Rally was held on Saturday and Sunday at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic College and Dera Natung Government College. A total of 137 candidates turned up for the rally out of which 5 candidates qualified the final test and were recommended for medical tests. These 5 candidates will also need to qualify in the final list at All India level before finally joining as Airmen in the Indian Air Force, as informed by Air Force recruitment team.

The recruitment rally has been organised by the Indian Air Force and the District Administration Capital Complex provided them necessary assistance with respect to logistics so as to encourage more candidates to participate in it.

The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan has requested more candidates to appear in the next such Rallies  as when such recruitments are  held outside the state many  candidates lose opportunity to appear due to various reasons. He further added that such rallies are held exclusively for the candidates of the state and everyone should take advantage of such an opportunity. The DC also congratulated the successful candidates and wished them good luck for further medical tests.
