NAMSAI, Apr 10:Hundreds of aspiring candidates from different parts of Namsai and its adjacent district participated in the pre- recruitment training for Indian Army being organized by the Chongkham Battalion (Lohit Brigade) of Indian Army in collaboration with District Administration Namsai.

Motivating and sharing tips to the aspiring candidates an Army Officer who wished to remain anonymous said ‘Objective of the pre-training is to ensure that maximum  youths  should get qualified and it is an opportunity for those candidates who  dream to wear the uniform of the Indian Army.’

 Training will be held from April 10 to 28 next, during the training Indian Army will provide free food and lodging as well all kind of assistance that helps the candidates to qualify for the prestigious job of the country, the officer added.

Encouraging the candidates, Deputy Commissioner Namsai RK Sharma   said ‘Joining the Indian Army is a great and proud moment for you, your family as well as for the country.  To be part of this esteemed organization is not an easy task but it is possible only if you have determination and patriotism in your heart.’

He also added that in order to encourage local youths the Governor, Chief Minister and legislators of the state are providing full support for such pre-recruitment  trainings.

‘This is an opportunity for you all, grab it,’ said the DC.

The final recruitment rally will be held at Jairampur in Changlang district from May 10 to 13 next.
