Hundreds of students from various colleges, universities, schools and organizations participated in the rally.
AAPSU had earlier threatened to resort to protest rally against non fulfillment of its demand as its first phase of agitation.  The apex student’s body is demanding immediate transfer of DC capital complex Prince Dhawan claiming his involvement in mismanagement of fund under Trans Arunachal Highway land compensation.
Speaking to reporters, President AAPSU Hawa Bagang informed that despite submitting memorandum to the state government there is no action by the concerned department as well as the government.
People are practically watching the width of the four lane highway, which is actually not according to the government norms. There has been huge corruption in the name of agricultural, horticulture and forest in between the stretch from Chandranagar to Pappu Nallah, Bagang said.
“All the corruption money collected in the name of agricultural, horticulture and forest and other fake compensation should be returned back,” he added.
