ITANAGAR, Nov 5: More than 400 people including students, public and government employees participated in the 10km mini marathon on the theme ‘Run for Crime Free Arunachal’  to commemorate the 45th Arunachal Pradesh Police Raising Day schedule to be held on November 8 next.

Flagging off the marathon, Parliamentary Secretary for Home & Education, Pani Taram while lauding the participants said ‘we should work unitedly to make our state free from all kinds of crime so that we all live in peace and harmony.’

The mini marathon which began from IG Park culminated at Police HeadQuarters (PHQ) via Chimpu. Earlier, officials of APP also distributed T-shirts and caps to the participants.

Among others, Director General APP Sandeep Goel, Superintendent of Police Papumpare- Tumme Amo and other ranks and file of APP participated in the rally.
