KHONSA Mar 17:

District Legal Services Authority of Tirap, Changlang and Longding in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority organized a programme to aware the public about legal services and government welfare schemes and programs at Khonsa Nehru Stadium today.

In his welcome speech JMFC cum Secretary DLSA, Domo Padu said that the aims and objective of organizing the workshop is to disseminate information about   how to avail benefits from various departmental schemes by the villagers living in rural areas especially.

Addressing the huge gathering of thousand delegates, Tirap DC, PN Thungon urged the gathering especially the villagers and farming community to learn from the programme.

 

Informing that many are still unaware of benefits of flagships schemes, the DC asked all to avail welfare schemes under various flagship programs. "This is a golden opportunity to acquire knowledge and idea about implementation of PM/CM Flagship programmes", he added.

DF&CSO, M. Miri, DSO (Stastical)  Nokgen Wangsu, Jania Sonia, ADO  were the resources persons of the day. Village Chiefs, Gaon Burahs, PRIs, HoDs  , NGOs, Public of Tirap District attended the programme.
