PASIGHAT, Apr 24: Five houses were gutted in a massive fire incident that occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday at Jarkong-BusKota in Pasighat.
Panic gripped the entire area around 12:25 am when the fire broke out in a house and spread to adjacent houses before fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames.
No casualty has been reported but properties have been lost in the inferno. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained but as per preliminary report, an electrical short circuit could be a reason, informed In-charge Fire Station Pasighat.
