Roing, Jul 10: Incessant rains, flooded villages and inaccessible roads have not deterred the COVID-19 management team of Paglam Sub-division of Lower Dibang Valley in discharging their duties.
The home quarantine monitoring team led by Nodal Officer Tumge Riba(Junior Teacher, SSA), Medical Officer Dr. Bharat Jyoti Gogoi and ASI Jonggum Ete, under the supervision of SDO Philip Tayeng(EAC), have been diligently monitoring all people under home quarantine in the area, even under adverse conditions.
A total of 68 people returned to the Paglam subdivision from across the country and as of July 10, 4 more people have been release after they completed 28 days (14 day FQ+ 14 days HQ) of mandatory quarantine while 2 people are still under HQ in the area.
The Paglam Sub-division has been cut off due to rise in water levels and snapping off of road communication and many villages have been flooded with water for the second time this monsoon season. DIPRO
