Itanagar, Mar 14:  Himanshu Gupta, Secretary Planning  has taken over the charge of Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex from today, replacing Prince Dhawan, who has been transferred to Text, Lohit District.
In an interactive meeting held with officers of the establishment, the newly inducted DC advised them to be calm and patient in all official dealings, maintain transparency and  strict work culture and meet deadlines in delivering public services. He also reviewed the preparation for the upcoming simultaneous elections and urged the magistrates, flying squads and static surveillance teams to start regular patrolling in their respective jurisdictions.
He urged all the staff to gear up and put extra efforts to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the state capital. DIPRO
