ITANAGAR, Apr 3: Department of Special Education, Himalayan University organized an awareness campaign on “World Autism Day” on April 2.
HoD, Special Education Ibraheem Khan on the occasion reminded that World Autism Day is celebrated globally on April 2 every year after being adopted by the United Nations to enrich the lives of people on the autism spectrum.
To spread the awareness regarding autism, the department also organized a rally from Chimpu campus to Gohpur Tinali and from Ganga Market to Secretariat where the students of B.Ed Special Education course of Himalayan University displayed placards and distributed pamphlets related to autism.
