3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth
NAHARLAGUN, Nov 21: The Department of Health & Family Welfare is observing the Non scalpel Vasectomy fortnight from November 21 to December 4 next across all districts of the state.
Minister, Health& Family Welfare, Alo Libang released balloons and flagged off a bike rally at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science to mark the occasion in small yet impressive function.
Libang in his message particularly appealed the male members to improve their participation in the reproduction health system.
Asserting that small family is a happy family, Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Kinni Singh appealed the male members to share the burden of family planning along with their wives and adopt Non-Scalpel Vasectomy. Earlier, Director TRIHMS, Dr. Moji Jini informed about the latest sterilization namely non-scalpel vasectomy which doesn’t cause pain or problems to beneficiaries.
Later the Minister also visited the ongoing construction of new building for OPD and other branches. The building is expected to be complete by the end of March 2019.
