ITANAGAR, Nov 29: Arunachal boys today held host West Bengal to a goalless draw in their last group match of the ongoing Hero Sub Jr. Boys National Football Championship 2019-20 being played at Kalyani, West Bengal.
With 10 points in kitty, Arunachal has topped Group B to enter the semifinals where their opponent will be Kerala in the second semifinal to be played on December 1 next. Earlier, the executive team of Arunachal Pradesh Football Association(APFA) comprising Vice President Kipa Takum, Director, Competitions John Neelam and Chairman, Disciplinary Committee Gebin Kato visited Kalyani Sports Complex to encourage the state team.
They met the players and team officials after the match and congratulated them for their fantastic run in the tournament and conveyed best wishes for the knockout stage matches. APFA PR
