LUNGLA, Nov 24:
Two health sub-centres, one at Kharteng village and the other at Mangnam village, under Lungla sub division were inaugurated by Lungla MLA Jambey Tashi in presence of DMO Tawang Dr.Wangdi Lama.
Jambey Tashi, in both the places, appealed to the general public to maintain personal hygiene, keep away from tobacco, alcohol and other intoxicants. He made special request to the village heads and leaders to educate the expecting mothers to go for institutional birth and avail the health benefits under various schemes.
“Children are our future and we must ensure healthy and disease free future by immunizing our children and no child should be left without immunization and every mother should get maximum care and health checkups during and after child birth,” said the MLA. He also asked the villagers to get enrolled for Chief Ministers Arogya Arunachal scheme and appealed to the educated youths to help the villagers in getting registrated. He further informed that two more health sub-centres for Muktur and Blet-teng villages are in the pipeline.
