Tawang, July 2: Health & Family Welfare Minister Biyuram Wahge, who is on a 3-day visit to Tawang and Bomdila  inspected the  District Hospitals in both places including the community health centre at Dirang. He interacted with patients and ensured that they are getting essential medications and treatments properly. The Minister took stock of the maintenance of the hospital buildings and instructed the district medical officers (DMOs) to maintain the hospital premises especially toilets and urinals.
Wahge also had coordination meeting with the District Medical Officers, Doctors and other staff of the hospitals. Hee emphasized the pivotal role of District Hospitals in creating healthier communities, providing wide spectrum of health care services that caters to all individuals.  As a token of love, he distributed food packets to the patients.  
Highlighting various issues being faced by the District Hospitals, the Deputy Superintendent of KDS District Hospital, Tawang and Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Bomdila submitted memorandum to the Health Minister for his intervention.  The minister assured fulfilment of the genuine demands pointed out in the memorandum, as soon as possible.  
Wahge also took part in the world population fortnight programme conducted by the District Health Society at Dirang.
