BOMDILA, AUG 27: Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh (MMRKK) health camps began from Lungdur village in the Community Health Center (CHC) Kalaktang, a day before the district-wise launch.
A total of 196 patients consisting of 111 males and 85 females including 27 children were treated. Similar camp was held today at Membachur village under CHC Rupa. Likewise, camps would also be held at Jamiri, Pedung (New Bomdila), Lish, Kimi and Thrizino from August 28 onwards.
West Kameng happens to be the first in the state to implement MMRKK health camps. Paediatrician Dr. Nani Tago, Medicine Specialist Dr. Taso Beyong and Cardiologist Dr. Rinchin Dorjee Megeji, all from TRIHMS and General Surgeon Dr. Millo Asha from CHC Dirang will be providing the much needed counselling and treatment with logistic support from the District Administration.
