PASIGHAT, Mar 6: A severe hailstorm lashed East Siang district and its surrounding areas this evening, causing sharp fall in mercury. The hailstorm accompanied by strong winds and heavy showers forced people to rush indoors and reduced visibility to zero. Vehicles were forced to move at a snail’s pace with headlights on. However, there were no reports of any loss of life from any part of the areas.
