Aalo, May 12:  With the objective of offsetting the break in social service activities due to the current lockdown spanning almost three months, the Galo Welfare Society (GWS) wing Galo Ane, which is spearheading the cleanliness drive here in township conducted a two-day social service on May 11 & 12 last.
On 11th, Hissam Colony was cleaned thoroughly maintaining lockdown protocols like social distancing and wearing of masks and the women wing cleaned the entire stretch of Siyom Colony. The Gumin Nagar Colony team handed over Rs. 21,000 to the volunteers manning the Hissam check gate as an encouragement of their honorary duties which is supplementing the Covid-19 fightback efforts of the DA, police and medical teams in West Siang district.  
Meanwhile, carpeting works have also resumed after a long break on the Lokpeng-Pangin road. DIPRO
