ITANAGAR, Nov 11: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have extended their best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti which falls on November 12.
In his message, Governor said that Guru Nanak’s divine message of purity of thought, excellence of conduct and tolerant temperament is essential to transform society for the better. On this blessed occasion, I appeal to all my fellow citizens to imbibe Guru Nanak Devji’s noble teachings and rededicate to the cause of national unity and integrity, his message read.
Chief Minister while extending his best wishes on the holy occasion said in his message- “On the pious day of Kartik Purnima, the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, I join my Sikh brethren in offering prayers to the Guru and revelling in the joy and happiness of his advent in the world to spread peace and humanity.” PRO Raj Bhavan, CMO
