ITANAGAR, Mar 30: The Galo Peoples' Front (GPF) has deeply mourned the demise of retired Additional Superintendent of Police, Yido Boje who passed away recently at Aalo.
Late Boje started his service career as an Upper Division Clerk in the Law Branch in 1975. Later, he joined the Arunachal Pradesh Police as a Sub-Inspector in 1978. During 1982-83, he was awarded a Class - I Certificate for successful completion of Central Detective Training. In due course, he was promoted to the rank of Inspector in 1988.
In response to his sheer dedication and command towards his duty, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh further elevated Boje to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2001 and subsequently, he reached the zenith of his service career as the Additional Superintendent of Police on 2009 and retired in 2013.
In his service career, Boje was instrumental in arresting various underground elements in Khonsa and Kokila and had successfully solved the infamous Ganga Market Robbery of 1987.
Further GPF expressed its heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
