ITANAGAR, Apr 3: Arunachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test Qualifiers Association (APTETQA) has urged the state government to regularize 1500 CTET/APTET qualified SSA in service teachers in one go.
 
Addressing the media person at Press club today, President APTETQA, Tabi Cader opined that ‘government has already announced creation of 1309 teaching and non teaching post of which 1300 post is only for teaching staff, and hence we appeal the government that all TGT post should be reserved for TET qualified SSA in service teachers instead of calling fresh interview under the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service.
 
Referring the neighboring state, Assam, Tabi said ‘Assam has already regularized  alteast 7000 TET qualified  SSA in-service teachers  on May last  as per the Right To Education (RTE) and National Council of Teachers (NCTE) Act, therefore we appealed the Arunachal Government to absorbed atleast 1500  teachers who had already qualified APTET.
 
Further, APTETQA President also urged the authority to make all the interview of vacant contractual post of TGT (SSA) and PRT centralized under SPD cum Director Office to eradicate nepotism and favoritism in district level.
 
‘Government has already admitted the shortage of more than 1000 teachers in the state during Yoga Day on June 21 last, and there are more than 4000 APTET/TET qualified Teachers who are still unemployed in the state, so we urged the government to immediately advertise all the vacant post to absorb them’ he added.
