ITANAGAR, Aug 20: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) today discussed various issues relating to the presence of Indian Oil Corporation in state with its Chief General Manager, North East State Office, Guwahati, Uttiya Bhattacharyya here at Raj Bhavan.
Governor urged the IOCL delegation which also included eight other officers to join hands with GoAP in fulfilling the provisions of people’s amenities like Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana etc. besides emphasising on quality and efficiency in this process. He also advised the Chief General Manager to increase area coverage in state.
Bhattacharyya briefed the Governor about IOCL activities and assured him to prioritise Arunachal Pradesh for LPG and other Petroleum Products coverage besides informing that a record 14 distributorships had been commissioned in state after Governor’s letter to the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, GoI which highlighted the need for maximum area coverage in state.
