ITANAGAR, Mar 26: Supplementing the continuing efforts in keeping Arunachal Pradesh free from the Covid-19 attack, Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) has engaged himself in monitoring the implementation mechanism of the lockdown in state.
He has personally discussed with the Deputy Commissioners of all districts and head of the state police regarding the arrangements made to prevent corona spread and reviewed the position and management of essential commodities delivery in each district. Appreciating the DAs and the police, Governor advised them to strictly follow the notification with a humane approach and directed them to ensure action for medical emergencies. Reiterating his appeal to the state’s people to abide by the directives issued by the Chief Secretary, he said for common welfare it’s time to stay at home.
Governor further advised the state government to ensure medical safety of the frontline workers, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, police personnel and those engaged in delivering essential services and emphasised on mandatory quarantine of those returning to the state from the Covid-19 affected places.
