ITANAGAR, May 30: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), who is on an official tour to the national capital, met the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today to discuss the security and other vital issues pertaining to the state.
Governor while briefing the Union Home Minister about the current law and order situation in the wake of some disturbing incidences in certain pockets of the state, emphasised on strengthening the security apparatus in these disturbed districts. Union Home Ministry will address the issues at the earliest, Rajnath assured.
The Governor also thanked the Union Home Minister for adequate security arrangement provided to the state for conduct of the simultaneous parliamentary and assembly elections. PRO Raj Bhavan
