Mishra (Retd.) and First Lady of the state Neelam Misra, going by this year’s theme of ‘Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family’, practiced yoga here at Raj Bhavan in a non-congregative manner with a few family members due to Covid restrictions.

He also acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts that led to the UN declaration of June 21 as the International Day of Yoga.
The First lady, who for the last four decades has also been an ardent yoga practitioner, thanked all her Yoga Gurus from whom she learnt the intricate details of the asanas and the PM for his role in promotion of yoga on a global scale.
