ITANAGAR, Dec 28: The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) led the cleanliness drive in the Government Upper Primary School, B-Sector, Itanagar today which was participated by Raj Bhavan officials and staff.
Reminding all that cleanliness work in schools is a social responsibility and falls in every local resident’s domain, the Governor said that such positive activities will help in inculcating sense of cleanliness and hygiene amongst the young students. He also emphasized that cleanliness drives should be regularly organised and enthusiastically participated in offices, public places and educational institutes.
The Governor urged upon the people to continue the cleanliness drives initiated by the Prime Minister on 2nd October 2014. He said that it is a befitting tribute to the father of the Nation on his 150th birth anniversary year.
The Governor expressed his happiness that the people of Arunachal Pradesh have been willingly participating and organizing the cleanliness drives. He underscored that they must also maintain cleanliness of the places they already have cleaned. PRO Raj Bhavan
