ITANAGAR, Mar 7: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) has extended his warm greetings to the women of the state on the occasion of International Women’s Day (IWD).
In his message, Governor expressed hope the occasion will infuse the state’s women with renewed zeal to excel on all fronts and take up ‘Start up’ ventures for greater roles in entrepreneurship and social upliftment. He called upon all the respected women to dare the bias and inequality against them, forge gender equality and pursue women empowerment. Acknowledging that women in Arunachal have made significant contributions in all fields of life, he stated that state government is well poised to promote holistic growth of women in state.
