Itanagar, Jun 16: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik, (Retd.) has conveyed his warm greetings to the people of the State and the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Zuha. He expressed his hope that the festivity will further strengthen the spirit of universal brotherhood, respect and peace and prosperity across the Nation.
The Governor said that Eid ul Zuha, which is also known as Eid al Adha, reminds us of the absolute trust of Ibrahim (Abraham) in Almighty Allah. This festival emphasises the values of sacrifice, obedience to God, and compassion for others. In all essence, this festival promotes goodwill and amity amongst the people, he said.
May this sacred occasion continue to secure our composite culture and harmony in the society and the Nation, the Governor wished in his message.
