ITANAGAR, May 28:Governor BD Mishra has congratulated Kishon Tekseng and Taka Tamut for scaling Mount Everest. He said that the two mountaineers have displayed courage, spirit of adventure and sagacity. They have proved that the youth of Arunachal Pradesh has great potential in all fields, he added.

The Governor expressed his hope that these mountaineers, who have reached the summit of Mount Everest will motivate and encourage other youth of the State in becoming nation class sportsperson. He hoped that as youth icons and extraordinary achievers, they will carry out social services in the fields of education, health and Swachh Bharat Mission as ‘Pay Back to Society’.

The Governor also commended the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh for facilitating the two mountaineers in their accomplishment.
