ITANAGAR, Sep 9: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have extended warm greetings to the people of the state and Khowa tribe in particular on the festive occasion of Pham Kho Sowai festival.
In his message, Governor said that the festival of Khowa tribe (also known as Bugun tribe) shall continue to motivate them to maintain their identity and bestow tribal awareness to the coming generation. He wished that the festival will usher in good harvest, prosperity and wellbeing for all. On this joyous occasion, I join my Khowa brethren in offering prayers to the Almighty for good health, contentment and happiness, the message read.
