ITANAGAR, Feb 25: On the festive occasion of Nyokum Yullo festival, Governor Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have conveyed their heartiest greetings to the people of the state, especially the Nyishis.
Governor in his message mentioned that Nyokum Yullo is one of the most popular festivals of Arunachal Pradesh which displays the beauty of Nyishi culture and it's rich tradition and hoped its celebration will invoke blessings of Ane Nyokum for peace and prosperity of the state. I convey my best wishes to one and all for successful celebration of Nyokum Yullo, his message read.
Chief Minister while extending his greetings hailed the Nyishis for zealously safeguarding their rich culture and reliving their tradition by celebrating Nyokum Yullo with enthusiasm. He also expressed optimism that state government’s commitment to fund all indigenous festivals of the state would materialize soon with support of all. “May Ane Nyokum shower her choicest blessings on our Nyishi brethrens and all sentient beings of the world,” CM prayed.
