ITANAGAR, Apr 26: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have deeply condoled the demise of Nido Techi, the former Raga MLA. In his condolence message, Governor said in Nido Techi’s death, the state has lost a true pioneer of democratic progress. Nido Pavitra, he described the former MLA as an eminent social worker and a popular figure of the present day Kamle district whose valuable services will always be cherished by the state’s people.
“I join the people of Arunachal Pradesh to pray to the Almighty for grant of eternal peace for the departed soul and fortitude for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss”, Governor said in his message.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu sharing his condolence with Nido Pavitra through a letter said with Nido Techi’s demise, the state has lost a first generation leader who led from the front and worked for the downtrodden which will always be remembered.
“In this moment of grief, me, my family, colleagues in the government and the people of Arunachal Pradesh extend our solidarity with you and share the pain inflicted on you by one of the greatest truths of life,” his letter read.
