New Delhi, Nov 22: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) today participated in an informal meeting of the Governors preceding the Conference of the Governors, here at Rashtrapati Bhavan in national capital.
Governor while calling for a review of the ‘Table of Precedence’ which was issued way back on July 26, 1979 opined that with the march of time, creation of new ranks and posts, changing national and international priority dynamics and also with the old Commonwealth Protocol losing much of its meaning, it’s now time to undertake a fresh study for its revision to keep in tune with times. In this regard, he emphasised the need for a Study Group which can go into details and recommend appropriate corrections and revisions.
Later in the evening, Governor and First Lady of the State Neelam Misra attended the High Tea hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind and First Lady Savita Kovind at the East Lawn of Rashtrapati Bhavan. PRO Raj Bhavan
