ITANAGAR, Feb 14:Ram Muivah, Secretary, North Eastern Council (NEC), Ministry of DoNER called on Governor BD Mishra at Raj Bhavan today. They discussed on number of developmental projects taken up in the state under NEC.
The Governor emphasised that NEC projects must be expedited and completed within the timeframe. He stressed that there must be review and mid course correction in the projects, keeping in view the changes which may need it.
The Governor appreciated the NEC for the livelihood and rural development project, the North Eastern Region Community Resource Management Project (NERCORMP), which is being implemented in Tirap, Longding and Changlang Districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The project aims to transform the lives of the poor and marginalized tribal families in North East region.
