ITANAGAR, Apr 26:The 3rd governing body meeting of hospital management society (Rogi Kalyan Samiti) was conducted today at CHC Itafort under the chairmanship of EAC, Capital complex, Hengo Basar.

MO/I-charge CHC, Itafort, Kabak Tamar in his address gave a status report of various hospital service deliveries and raised issues and challenges which the CHC is facing presently. He also stressed on the need of urgent infrastructure up gradation, mobility support such as ambulances and effective convergence with all the line departments.

He further disclosed about recent facilities brought to the CHC such as labour room which he asserted is ready to provide the services especially for poor and needy.

Chairman, HMS-CHC cum EAC, Basar in his advisory speech placed various suggestions regarding the improvement of public health care service delivery and assured all possible help from his end. He also opined the need for boundary wall, ambulance services, community participation in revamping the health sector.

Further in order to ensure accountability and proper implementation of the various national health programmes, the members present have stressed on strong monitoring and supervision.
