ITANAGAR, Apr 18: Sensing the gravity of the ongoing situation regarding operationalisation of Lower Siang District, Chief Minister Pema Khandu led state government has constituted a Group of Ministers (GOM) to examine and make ground assessment on the issue.
The GOM has been directed to conduct public hearings and submit a consolidated report and recommendation to the government for placing before the state Cabinet for a final decision.
The GOM will be headed by Kamlung Mossang, Minister WRD etc. as chairman with PHED and WS Minister Bamang Felix and Dr. Mohesh Chai, Minister AH&DD etc as members.
Special Secretary IT Prince Dhawan will provide the secretarial assistance to the Group of Ministers to facilitate early submission of the recommendation.
The state government has provided a timeframe of one month to submit the reports from the date of issue of the order.
