Sagalee, Feb 16: MLA Techi Kaso today inaugurated the Golden Jubilee of Nyokum Yullo Celebration, Sagalee-2020  here at the general ground amidst huge fanfare.
In his address, Kaso advised the people of Sagalee to preserve the age-old traditions, culture and festivals which reflect the identity of the Nyishi community. He appealed the people of the six Circles under Sagalee to protect their culture from the advent of modernization and wished everyone a happy and prosperous Nyokum Yullo. Local MLA Nabam Tuki who is also the chief patron of GJNYC, Sagale-2020 appealed all to come and enjoy the beautiful festival.
Er. Nabam Takar delivered the welcome address and spoke on the importance of celebrating the festival. Meanwhile, Sagalee team defeated Mengio Circle  in the football match organized as a part of the celebration.
