ITANAGAR, Oct 26: An emergency meeting of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) was held today here at a private hotel to discuss matters regarding the on-going talks between Government of India and the NSCN(IM), which is proposed to be culminated by October 31 next.
The House unanimously adopted the resolutions which say that the proposed agreement, if any, between GoI and NSCN(IM) should not affect the state of Arunachal Pradesh and its people in any way and AAPSU will strongly oppose any attempt to change the territorial jurisdiction of the state or any kind of administrative intervention in the state while reaching a final solution. The union has also demanded that GoAP including all the 60 legislators, 3 MPs (both Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) and all political parties of the state should make their respective stands clear on the vexed issue.
